What is the AI Durga Puja Photo?
The Durga Puja portrait template dresses you for the festival. Upload a selfie and you get a warm, cinematic waist-up portrait in a traditional Bengali laal paar saree, ivory silk with a broad red and gold border, draped Bengali style with the pallu over your shoulder. You wear layered antique gold jewellery, jhumka earrings and a maang tikka, red-and-white shakha-pola bangles with gold ones, a round red bindi, kajal-lined eyes and alta on your fingertips, with your hair in a low bun wrapped in a jasmine gajra. You hold a brass puja thali with marigolds and a small diya, smiling softly. Behind you a pandal glows with diyas, marigold garlands, fairy-light bokeh and a haze of incense smoke, with the goddess idol softly blurred.
Every autumn, AI festival portraits for Durga Puja and Navratri trend across India, and Gemini-style saree prompts were among the most shared during the 2025 festive season. This template builds on that look with richer detail, such as the red-bordered saree associated with Bengal and the shakha-pola bangles.
It keeps your face, features and skin tone. The outfit is a women's saree look, so the template is written for photos of women. Results arrive in about 20 to 40 seconds as a 3:4 portrait. The examples here were made from AI-generated fictional people.
The details in the look
The laal paar saree, white or ivory with a red border, is closely tied to Bengali celebrations. The template pairs it with shakha-pola, the red and white bangles, plus gold bangles, a big red bindi, kajal, alta on the fingertips and a jasmine gajra around a low bun. The brass thali with marigolds and a diya completes the puja moment.
The background is a festival pandal: warm diyas, marigold garlands, fairy lights and dhuno smoke, with the idol kept soft and out of focus behind you.
Respectful use
Durga Puja is a religious festival for many people. The template keeps the scene devotional and festive, and the idol stays in the background. Please share it in the same spirit, and do not use the portrait for mockery or advertising.
For other seasonal looks, the AI Christmas photo and Halloween AI photo templates cover the rest of the holiday calendar.
