What is the Giant Ramp Climbing AI: Sprint Up the Dam Wall and Flip?
Giant ramp climbing is the AI stunt clip everyone is remaking this week: a runner sprints up a giant curved dam wall in front of a crowd, flips high above the railing and slides back down in a spray of water. Upload one photo and this template puts you on the wall.
The clip is AI. It was posted on Instagram on 23 October 2026 by an account for an AI-made virtual popstar, captioned "Jackson can fly", and passed 3 million likes in a week. It came out of a wider wave of AI "stunt running" videos, where athletes run up impossible ramps; fact-checkers warned in early October that many of them are not real. Three days after the reel a giant ramp climbing template appeared on CapCut, and template accounts spread it in French ("escalade de la rampe géante", 307,000 views), Spanish and Portuguese, then in English from 30 October.
The template runs in two steps: an image model places you at the foot of the dam wall with your own face, hair and clothes, then a video model plays the 8-second stunt with wind, wet footsteps, a splash and a cheering crowd. No music, so add your own sound when you post. The trend videos on this page are credited to their creators; the poster image is AI-generated.
What happens in the video
0-2 s: you crouch at the foot of the giant curved wall and explode into a sprint. 2-5 s: you run all the way up while the camera tilts to follow. 5-6.5 s: a high backflip above the railing, the crowd cheering. 6.5-8 s: you land, slide down in a spray of water and pump a fist at the camera.
Is the giant ramp video real?
No. The original giant ramp climbing clip is AI-made and was posted by an AI virtual popstar account. Nobody can run up a dam wall and flip off the top like that. Your video is AI too, so keep the AI label on when you post it.
Which photo to use
One adult, head to toe if you can, face toward the camera, sharp and in good light, no sunglasses. Any background works: the dam, the crowd and the camera move come from the template. Use your own photo or one of a friend who said yes, never a celebrity or a stranger.
